We had the pleasure of performing our live sand sculpture show at the Falmouth High School for the Falmouth Road Race Expo. In total we carved nearly 10,000 pounds of sand over the course of our 2 night engagement.

Sand sculptures make a perfect match for Asics and Cape Cod. Sand can easily showcase new details on a large scale, live! While this example was created outside. it could have also been created indoors with a little extra effort.

For this specific project we were on site for roughly 16 hours over two days. We started with a pile of sand and a few wooden forms, that are removed prior to carving, for all those skeptics. No detail is too small even down to the stitching in the laces. The best thing about the whole project is that it was live for the world to see. Just a pile of sand, now art.
